ABOUT THE POSITION
The Regional Affairs Representative is a full-time, exempt position responsible for serving as an ACWA representative in the field, building and fostering relationships with ACWA’s identified region members. The position facilitates ACWA’s Region governance activities; coordinates member retention and recruitment programs and activities; and is responsible for implementing grassroots member outreach strategies throughout the regions. The position requires frequent field visits.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The annual salary range is $73,342 – $95,345. Salary placement is based on qualifications. ACWA offers a competitive benefits package that includes CalPERS retirement, medical insurance, and dental insurance.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and knowledge of presentation methods and meeting planning. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in government, public relations, marketing, business administration or related field and three years of related experience in government relations, public relations or related field, coupled with member relationship and/or client services support within a membership association.
