Harvard Allston Land Company is a subsidiary of the University and will oversee the planning and development for the University's Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) in Allston. Initial focus is to develop 14 acres of the ERC, which will include new infrastructure, streets, open space, mixed-use development of office and lab space, residential units and a hotel and conference center. Reporting to the CEO of Harvard Allston Land Company (HALco) the Director of Planning is responsible for executing the planning principles defined for the Enterprise Research Campus.
Salary Grade: 061 Union: 00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary

A graduate degree in Architecture, Planning, Business or a related technical field would be a plus. Must have strong financial, technical, analytical, and communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix team structure. Must have strong private-sector development, project finance, and project management skills and experience in complex large-scale multi-phased urban real estate mixed-use development projects including residential, retail, urban planning, design, and construction.
