Manages DSA’s digital assets, including websites and associated microsites, and coordinates content creation and dissemination for the Association’s social media and other platforms.
Web Development Responsibilities
Ensures content on all DSA websites remains current, attractive and organized, coordinating with staff from all departments for content generation.
Serves as the point of contact for issues related to the content management system of the website (Sitefinity). Troubleshoots technical aspects of all websites and digital properties either internally or by directing external web/database consultants.
Develops event-specific web sites (Squarespace), uploads files to event websites following meetings, and archives photos for purchase following events.
Along with the Government Relations and International Affairs Specialist, coordinates and disseminates content for Association’s grassroots portal.
Social Media and Other Communications
Monitors social media conversation and engages with followers.
Coordinates editorial calendars and content creation and dissemination for Association’s social media presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
Solicits current topics from staff for inclusion in DSA communications such as the Digest and Supplier Source, Op Eds and President’s Message/DSN.
Develops and designs the Digest, SupplierSource, Independent Contractor Update, and other campaigns on Mailchimp.
Assists with digital/social content development and dissemination as needed.
Design and Photography
Creates and coordinates development of printed and digital materials using Adobe Creative Suite for Public Affairs, Government Relations, and other departments.
Provide art direction and assistance to contracted designers/photographers as needed.
Attends events as assigned to capture photos and video for digital dissemination via social and traditional channels.
Reports regularly to the Director of Communications & Marketing (and other Association executive management, as needed) on metrics from all DSA websites and digital and social properties.
Assist with any miscellaneous tasks that relate to the association management system MatrixMaxx and be familiar with how Maxx communicates with the website content management system.
Build rapport with team members to help ensure an efficient, productive, and collaborative product.
Associate Degree or its international equivalent in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Typically requires a minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.
Trade association or non-governmental organization experience a plus
