ING is looking for a responsible, hands-on, pro-active and flexible business manager to support the Credit Risk Model Development management in the ING HQ in Amsterdam.
Your work environment: The Credit Risk Development team is an energetic international team of highly qualified professionals. The team is responsible for the development and monitoring of all regulatory and non-regulatory credit and trading risk models for our private and business customers throughout ING Group. These models are core to the success of ING and are applied to determine the exposure measurement, capital adequacy and the management thereof. The Credit Risk Model Development team is part of Financial Risk Model Development.
Every action and decision regarding the credit risk models on the Group level needs to go through approval process via Model Development Committee, which consist of the senior managers from the Business/Front Office side, Model Development, Model Validation and Risk COO. This presents a vital moment where decisions and follow-up actions are taken for all of the credit risk related issues on the Group level.
Prepare (bi-)weekly Model Development Committee meetings, ensuring that relevant information and documents are provided to the appropriate parties on a timely basis.
Set up conference calls and record and archive the discussion during the meeting.
Prepare the meeting minutes, which clearly demonstrate what has been discussed, challenged and agreed upon. The minutes will serve as evidence for the ECB, audit, and various (senior) stakeholders within ING Group.
Prepare and keep up-to-date a follow-up action list with appropriate PTAs resulting from the meeting discussion.
Upload and keep organized relevant/presented committee files and minutes in SharePoint.
SharePoint and AIRB/IFRS 9 Models Dashboard maintenance.
Assess priority, sensitivity and purpose. Act as the point of contact and respond to ad-hoc queries coming from (internal) stakeholders.
Work actively on optimizing the committee and secretary work.
Your work environment: Given the global nature of our business, you will be working in a highly dynamical and international environment where communication is mainly in English.
Work experience as a secretary/ business manager and with writing meeting minutes, preferably in an international setting; or experience with working on governance related topics within risk domain in a bank;
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English;
Sensitivity for cultural differences;
Dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information;
